Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE HARRIS (nee CAVE) February 5, 1925 - September 16, 2012 It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Irene Harris on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the River East Personal Care Home. Irene was predeceased by her son Murray, and husband Bill of 39 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her sister Marion Daly of Ontario, son Don (Cindy), daughter Jody Bachart (Darrell), two very special grandsons Tyler and Murray, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family was Irene's highest priority and her unfailing love was inexhaustible. Irene touched many lives with her genuine interest. People were drawn to Irene because of her gracious and unflappable personality. The family would like to thank the staff at River East Personal Care Home for all the care and compassion devoted to our Mom. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice. An informal celebration of Irene's life will be held Friday, September 28, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium, 1800 Day Street.
