MARTINA ALPECHO November 11, 1925- September 26, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Martina Alpecho, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was surrounded by love and family and was welcomed into God's arms. She will be forever missed by her daughter, Arsenia Pacete, and son Mario (Susan). Martina is also survived by her children in the Philippines, daughter Nilda Poblete and family, daughter Merlinda Ubaldo and family and son Dionisio and family. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Brian and Janice Pacete, Nyssa, Mario Jr, Mary-Ann, Josephine, and Edlyn. She had a passion for gardening, loved cooking, sewing and watching the Filipino channel. She enjoyed gathering with friends and family and sharing the vegetables that she grew in her garden. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 commencing at 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr Celebrant. A reception will be held at Mosaic Reception Centre following the mass. The interment will be held in the Philippines at a later date. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Health Sciences Centre for their compassion and support. Rest in Peace, We will always love you!
