Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA MARGARET LAW Peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2012 Mom passed away at the Betel Home at the age of 78 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years Jim; son Ron (Kim); precious grandchildren Rick (Crystal), Jennifer, Morgan (Shayna), Monty (Lana), Samantha (Wayne), Jonathan (Teigen); great-grandchildren Ava, Drew, Ryan, Keira and Noah; brother Charlie (Jean); daughter-in-law Robin and many nieces, nephews and great friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents; sons Wayne and Teddy; brothers Freddy, Jim and John. Mom was born December 6, 1933 in Selkirk. She attended school in Netley, Dawson Creek and Selkirk. She started her working career in advertising then Manitoba Rolling Mills where after 25 years retired in June 1991. Mom loved to travel always looking forward to many road trips to BC and USA. She also loved playing cards and bingo, anything that enabled her to socialize. Mom's wonderful spirit, generosity and enduring optimism were an inspiration to us all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Thank you to the Selkirk Betel Home for the excellent care, kindness and compassion. Morris and Lena Horrill enjoyed their friendship, as well as Morris worked with Jim, Carol worked with Edna at MRM for a few years before moving to B.C. Our condolences to the family.
