  • When Verna informed me of her liver disease and she was in need of a liver transplant, the memories of my grandson "Baby Ashten" who had Biliary Atresia and in need of a liver transplant was like yesterday. Verna wanted to know everything about this liver disease. She would say "Thank you Phoebe as I am going through these stages I am thinking about your grandson and learning from those experiences." Verna was so appreciated of the medical information and memories that we shared. I am honored to have those times and days with her. Thanks to Evelyn Folster for bringing us together. May the grace of God, the sympathy of friends, and the memories you hold so dear, bring comfort to all. Phoebe Thomas - Posted by: Phoebe Thomas (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2012
