Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNINE MARIE DUPUIS (neé BERARD) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Dupuis of St. Vital, on September 28, 2012. She is survived by her children: Denis, Donald (Kathy), Lise, and Luc; grandchildren Shawn (Renée), Chad (Jennifer), Breanne Fraese (Chris), Amy (Fabio Potenza), Robert, Marcel and René; great-grandchildren Emma, Rhys, Anna, Kyan, Jordan and Nate; daughters-in-law Joan and Beatrice. She is also survived by siblings Thérèse Routier, Irene Carrière, Raymonde (Dave) Ferris, Jeannette Shimonek, and Lionel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Oréclide and Zénon, also by seven sisters and six brothers. Jeannine was born in St. Joseph, MB on April 27, 1933, the second youngest of 19 children. She was married to Aimé Dupuis in 1951 and raised four children in St. Jean Baptiste. In the early 1980s she moved to the St. Vital area where she lived until her passing. She was very dedicated to her family and friends. Mom was a hard worker, exceptional cook and a great seamstress. She was an honest, caring and generous person. She had a great sense of humour and loved to have fun. She was well known in the bingo community of St. Vital and she also loved to play the lotteries. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012, at St. Emile's Church, 556 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in St. Joseph, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
