  • No matter the age, it is a sad time when our parents leave us. My wife Linda and I had a great visit with Aunt Pauline last summer. She met us for breakfast at the Russell Inn, dressed to the nines on her scooter. The next day we were able to visit her at her apartment which she proudly showed off and her flowers at the front door. My wife, Linda sent pictures to her and Lena. We shared some photos of the ancestoral Boychuck and Naherniak villages in the Ukraine. She was most interested. Pauline was in a very happy, humorous mood which was great. Previously when we saw her she was in mourning over the loss of her husband and son. That generation is slowly leaving us. They worked so hard, accomplished so much for themselves but always pushed us to go to school, do better, work harder. What a legacy they are leaving behind! You can only be proud of your parents, Mike and Pauline. - Posted by: Allen Prodan (Nephew) on: Oct 09, 2012

  • Dear Lesia, Eugene & Allan, Our deepest condolences go out to you during this time of sorrow. Your mother, my Godmother, was a very gracious lady who always showed an unselfish interest in another's wellbeing. She celebrated, with me, the big milestones in my life, graduating from highschool, from nursing, getting married, and the birth of Nathan. I had looked for her at Mom's funeral, but now I know why. I hope God gave her a peaceful end to her beautiful full life. God Bless You All. With sympathy, Wayne, Cathy & Nathan Muir - Posted by: Cathy Muir (Godchild) on: Oct 09, 2012
