I thank you Mother-in-law for showing me the way of perseverance and love for family. Over the years, watching you and Joseph my Father-in-law serve the Lord was a blessing. Witnessing how you nurtured your loved ones by listening, talking or conjoling them (gentle urging in face of reluctance). Seeing you and Joseph take many into your home without complaint even when you didn't have much yourselves at times, was an example to our church, families and the community. What you have taught and encouraged us to do will reap in the harvest. I miss you so much already but take comfort in knowing that you are at peace and rest with the Lord and with loved ones gone before. Most recently Joseph and Allen. Till we meet again. Mom you have taught me unconditional love. You showed me that when I got up in the middle of the night with one of my sick children, that it was love and not sacrifice. I have noticed mom, I'm a lot like you in many ways. I thank God for letting you stay as long as you did. God filled your room with his love and peace before sending his best unnoticed, into your room they came, Softly and tenderly they reached for your hand and gently took you home. Love you MOM.♥ - Posted by: Velma Michell (daughter) on: Oct 06, 2012
