My condolences Lucy. It has been many years since I saw you both but I remember the early years well. Especially the time Ernie's car broke down near Fred's and the next morning - we could see bear tracks - it walked right over the car. good thing Ernie wasn't in it! - Posted by: Judy Andres (Kiel) (Friend) on: Oct 13, 2012

I have fond memories of Ernie. Dad (Clare Schick) brought us kids to his home for dinner one weekend. I remember him snagging a goose from the pond in his yard. The pie Aunty Lucy made I still remember today as being awesome. He never knew he was my favorite Great Uncle, but he was. I am sad to hear of his passing and extend my deepest condolences to Lucy. - Posted by: Deanna Ratt (Great Niece) on: Oct 10, 2012

I remember waking up to a few Sat. mornings at the farm listening to Uncle Ernie wrestling with Skipp and Todd of course Uncle Ernie always had the upper hand on the boys not that they didn't try their best. Linda Stabner - Posted by: Linda Stabner (niece) on: Oct 10, 2012
