Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY RUDKO August 10, 1913 - October 4, 2012 Sadly, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Mary at Fred Douglas Lodge. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son Don, daughter-in-law Kathleen, family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband John in 1995, sisters, Kay Sposito, Ann Ihnasz, Sophie Schawurski and three brothers, John, Peter Fedusiak and Michael Fredrick. Mary lived and raised her family in West Kildonan where she attended St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church and was an active member of their Seniors Club. She worked for many years and her positive attitude and good sense of humour were always appreciated by her coworkers and many friends. Mary especially enjoyed time with her family, visiting with neighbourhood friends, tending her garden and going to the lake. She was fortunate to spend her later years with her sister and best friend Kay, where they were able to live separately, yet be together in both their apartment and later in Fred Douglas Lodge. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Willow Unit for their compassion and excellent care. A private service was held at Glen Eden Cemetery in Winnipeg on October 10. In memory of Mary, please consider donations to Fred Douglas Lodge or your favourite charity. VICHNAYA PAMYAT Rest in Peace KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
