Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Carla, Thinking of you and your family these sad days. I remember when I first met your Dad. He and your mom came to dinner at our home. Sami got so excited that he urinated on your Dad's shoes. (I think they were new) Your Dad must have been an animal lover, because he took it all in good stride and laughed when he got over the shock. I wish I had the opportunity to know him better. I do know that you and he were very close. - Posted by: Vivienne Rowan (Close friend and Sami's mom) on: Oct 13, 2012

  • Ken. You were a true friend. I remember the day we met at TJ'S campground in Westbourne Mb. We would fish all day and all we would catch would be a carp. We would share fishing & hunting stories. Ken would pick me up and we would head for Pipestone, Mb. to the Walter & Cathy McFall's ranch for the yearly white tail hunt. Ken was very particular in every thing he did. That's why we got along so well. I always hoped to visit Ken & Ina in Duncan and wished to go salmon fishing some day. Ken: May you Rest in Peace and some day we may meet again. Our deepest sympathy to: Ina, Marilyn, Jeff, & Carla Gord & Suzanne Zahara - Posted by: Gord Zahara (friend) on: Oct 12, 2012

  • Dear Carla Even though we never met your dad we both know the sadness you must feel at this time and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Remember he is your guardian angel and he will always be with you. Here is a poem that is very close to my heart, it brings a tear to my eyes at times but also comforts me when I am low and I want to share it with you so it may help to comfort you. When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven above and that I'd have to leave behind all those I love. So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart. Love to you and your family Robin & Bill - Posted by: Robin & Bill McCausland (friends) on: Oct 11, 2012
