Mary (Miss Kemp) was my teacher in Grade 2. My sister Jerelyn looked after Sharon when she received a burn at a very young age. Bill is our father. Your mother will be missed by many people - for her kind words and acts. She always had someone with her when she was out to a community activity. You get peace knowing that she has gone to a better place. My Mother joined her last Tues so you know the truth when I say - I know how you must feel. I am sorry that I was unable to attend her funeral - but now you know the reason. Sharon, Brian, and Don - my thoughts have been with you - may you always feel the warmth of your Mother's love - a great lady! You can get great feelings from knowing that she is in a better place. My Mother joined her last Tues - so it is in all honesty that I can say I know how you must feel. - Posted by: Dianne (Cassels) Hutchison (Student 0f Mary's) on: Nov 06, 2012

Mary Crane and I were cousins by marriage. Mary's husband, Mervin, and my husband, Del Vopni were first cousins. We were the city cousins. Visits to the farm were filled with good food and lively discussions, and lots of fresh air checking out the Pembina valley. Mary would always give me a tour of her garden, and bring us up to date on all the other family members who lived in Manitou and environs. She was rightfully proud of her kids and what wonderful adults and parents they became. Mary would always put a photo of the family in her Christmas letter. To Sharon, Brian and Don and their families--remember all the good times you spent with your Mom and Grandma, She is at peace now. Love to you all, Brenda Vopni - Posted by: Mary Crane () on: Oct 15, 2012

Aunt Pauline was a great mom a good mentor her whole life. As we get busy with our own lives we don't always have the opportunity to keep in touch. We shared a love of selling cosmetics -Shelly & Aunt Pauline introduced me to selling Avon -we sold together for awhile however I decided to do it on my own as she lived in St James & we lived in Mission Gardens & at that time I did not drive. I have many fond memories of this lovely lady & her loving family. My heart goes out to all her children Shelly Larry & Jeff & their families. I will not say good bye but instead see you later.
