CONSOLACION SERAPIO April 3, 1921 - October 27, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Consolacion Serapio announces her passing on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the age of 91. Consolacion was born in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija Philippines on April 3, 1921. She came to Canada 33 years ago with her loving husband Felipe. Known to others as Conching, she was a strong, loving, caring and generous mother and grandmother with the biggest heart. She devoted much of her time and energy as a care giver to her family members. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and providing them with the best examples she could possibly give. She always put other people's needs first before her own and was always supportive in more ways than one. She will be dearly missed by her loving children; Venancio (Luvy), Virgilio (Rosie), Luisa (Isidro), Francisco, Patricio (Letty), Leonardo (Liza), Nina and Julie along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in both Canada and the Philippines. The family would like to thank everyone who has shown their love, support and offered their prayers with the family during this difficult time. We would especially like to thank WRHA home care and the 3rd Floor Unit 5 staff members at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassionate care. Also, A very special thanks to all the grandchildren who made their effort to be with Lola during her stay in the hospital. Lola, we know you are now in a better place and happily together with Lolo. We love and miss you so much... until we meet again. Lamay will commence on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening with Rev. Msgr. Enrique M. Samson, Jr. Mass and burial will be held in the Philippines.
