Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE FORTIER (TETRAULT) (nee FONTAINE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Marie Fortier on October 17, 2012. Marie was predeceased by her husbands Marcel Tétrault and Paul Fortier, son Gilbert and daughter-in-law Barbara, sister Cécile, brothers André, Gérard, Léon and Donat. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Laurent (Linda), Réal (Tara), Paulette (Rick), Albert (Debbi) and Louise (Bruce), daughter-in-law Leona, grandchildren René, Lisa (Dustin), Danielle, Marcel, Desirée (Raynald), Chantal, Bryce and great-grandson Ronin. Marie was born in Ste. Agathe in 1924 and grew up in a close-knit family. She is survived by Thérèse (Cyril), Agathe (Philibert), Florence (Ovide), Noël (Gilberte) and Louis, sisters-in-law Evéline and Alice. Marie was married to Marcel Tétrault in 1944 and together they had three children. He accidentally died in 1953. In 1956, she married Paul Fortier and together they had three children. Paul passed away in 1995. Marie continued to live in Letellier until 2002 when she moved to Winnipeg. Throughout the years, Mom had many fond memories of curling in Letellier. She loved to travel and enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless . Her family and religion continued to play an important part throughout her life and she attended Mass at Villa Aulneau on a daily basis. A Funeral Mass, celebrated by Father Raymond Sorin, will be held at Précieux-Sang Parish, 200 Kenny Street, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. A Celebration of her life with pictures and eulogy will be held at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in Letellier, MB. The family would like to thank the personnel and homecare workers at Villa Aulneau for their support and compassionate care. Flowers are gratefully declined. Mes sincere sympathies a Laurent, Real, Paulette, Albert et Louise.
