Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dad, you were so much more to me than my dad. I used to think you were larger than life because you knew everyone and everyone knew you. The amazing vacations for my birthday (who gets that?) I'm forever grateful. The hours on the phone, I'll always treasure because that's me and you time no one else got. As I got older I got to see that you accepted me for me without judgement and loved me. You gave your opinion but not forcing it down my throat. Until we meet again Dad. I'll love you forever - Posted by: Kim fehr (Daughter) on: Oct 08, 2015

  • Pa we miss you every moment of everyday. We love you and life is not the same without you at home with us everyday. I can't believe it is almost a month since you became an angel. I am so thankful that we were blessed to have your love and give you ours. May you rest in peace and we will treasure the memories forever. XOXO - Posted by: Karen Johnson (Step daughter that is very much a daughter!) on: Dec 06, 2012

  • I liked Joe the first time I met him in August 1986 at his parents dinner table. He taught me how to eat his ma's delicious Trini cookin' and laughed watching me struggle to keep from making a mess without a knife and fork. Joe could spellbind me telling a story and I never knew how much of it was true and I didn't care because it was fun to watch him bring it to life. I regret I never got to fish with Joe. Hope he's fishing right now. - Posted by: bruce nelson (bro-in-law) on: Nov 13, 2012

  • As Joe's ex-wife of 22 years we shared a lot of memories, some good, some not so good. He was the man I fell in love with as a teenager, and soon became high school sweethearts. I loved him with all my heart then but as time went on we grew apart, but in my heart I knew he was a decent man down deep inside. I made my peace with him when I knew he was terminal and I know he is in a better place now. We had 3 beautiful children, whom I am very proud of. I would like to pass my condelences to Ma & Pa, Shaney, Sharmain and Vishnu, I pray God be with you at this time of loss. - Posted by: Brenda (Bernadine) Haddad-Erickson (ex-wife) on: Nov 11, 2012
