JOSEPH YENDROWICH 1928-2012 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on November 7, 2012 at the age of 84. Joe was born to Felix and Tiney Yendrowich on Augist 6, 1928, he was predeceased by wife Doreen and son Randy. Joe and his siblings Stanley, William, Marie, and John grew up working on the family market garden south east of Winnipeg, he continued to work this land until his recent illness. Joe will be dearly missed by his wife Theresia Dux and her family, his daughter Laurie, son Arthur and family members as well as neighbours from Fraser Road, other friends and his dog Shep. Special thanks to the 3rd floor staff of the Riverview Healthcare Centre and homecare staff for the excellent care and compassion shown to Joe during his final days. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 14, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. 357 rue DesMeurons, Winnipeg. Interment and graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Vital Cemetery. All I knew about my grandfather was that he was a hard working man and that he did not get along well with my father. So much so, that my father goes by his middle name Arthur instead of his first, which is Joseph. To avoid any confusion, my father was son to Joseph and Doreen before her passing. I hope my grandfather made peace with my father before he died(they haven't spoken in twenty years-give or take)and I give my aunty Laurie and his new wife Theresia(thats a pretty name) my dearest sympathy.
