Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND DENIS (ROLLY) ROBERT On Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 1:40 p.m., at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB, Rolly left this world and received his healing in heaven after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65 years. He was predeceased by his parents Claude and Simone Robert, and his sister Mona Saurette. Rolly will be sadly missed by his wife Cécile Marie Robert (nee Sarrasin), of 44 years, his children Jacqueline (Darryl) and Monique, his grandchildren Riley, Tatiana and Noah, who were very special to him, brothers and sisters: Gilbert (Jeannine), Rhéal (Annette), Claudette (Denis) Ouimet and Roger Saurette (Celina), brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeannette Sarrasin (Ray), Emile Sarrasin (Elaine), Claude Sarrasin (Laurette), Yvonne Robert (Jeannot), Eveline Bialek (Len), Denis Sarrasin (Suzanne), Jeannine Gelineau (Renald), Rachel Frances (Yves), Roland Sarrasin (Marriette), Renald Sarrasin (Lucille), Louise Buchanan (Bill), Bernice Wiebe (Greg), Michele Sarrasin, and his 26 nephews, 17 nieces and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Born on February 11, 1947 Roland grew up in Aubigny, MB and attended Otterburne College. He married his one and only love, Cécile, on November 29, 1968. They lived in Lorette, MB where they raised their two daughters. Rolly was proud to have worked 34 years for Borland Construction. Those closest to Rolly remember him for his unique smile, his sense of humour and he loved nothing more than a building project; he gave much of his time, money and resources to help his family and friends. We wish to thank the dedicated staff at the Health Sciences Centre Neurology department and the Bethesda Hospital for their care, compassion and kindness. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 16 at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Parish in Lorette, MB, at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:15 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date. Donations in Rolly's memory may be made to the Bethesda Hospital, 316 Henry St., Steinbach MB R5G 0P9 or the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, 100-4 Fort St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C4. The day Pepere died we all felt like we were incomplete but mom said don't remember the Pepere you saw today remember the Pepere you saw before this happened.
