IDA I. BESSANT (nee MCNABB) Ida I. Bessant (Nee McNabb) of Wawanesa, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Wawanesa District Memorial Health Centre in Wawanesa, MB at the age of 92 years. Left to mourn Ida's passing are her daughters Lorraine (Peter) Chalanchuk of Brandon, MB, and Carolyne (Jack) Brown of Cranberry Portage, MB, son Kenneth (Josephine) Bessant of Brandon, MB, grandchildren Tamara Moore-Sabad and husband Shondell Sabad, Kevin Moore and his wife Angela Graham, and Warren (Jamie) Brown, as well as great-grandchildren Joshua, Jordan, Nora, Aniela, Evan and Chloe. Also left to mourn Ida's passing are her sister Edith Gagnon and brother-in-law James Riley. Ida was predeceased by her husband Albert James Bessant, brothers John and Stewart McNabb, sisters Bella Riley and Janet Watson, brothers-in-law John Gagnon and Gordon Watson, and her parents, Robert and Christina (nee Lowman) McNabb. Funeral Service will be held at the Wawanesa United Church, Wawanesa, MB at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. Interment to follow in the Wawanesa Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held at the New Horizons Centre in Wawanesa, MB. Everyone is welcome.
