MARIA CARREIRO Peacefully on November 15, 2012 at the Maples Personal Care Home, Maria passed away at the age of 95 years. Maria is survived by her niece Fatima (Jose) Silva, great-nephews Fernando and Michael (Cassia) Silva as well as other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness. Prayer service will be held on Monday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Funeral service will follow on Tuesday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Donations may be made in Maria's name to the Alzheimer's Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
