Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCY POLENSKI Peacefully, on November 19, 2012 at the Betel Nursing Home in Selkirk, Lucy Polenski passed away at the age of 100 years and nine months. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Michael; her three children in infancy, Eva, Patricia and David; and her beloved grandson Darryl Starin. The oldest in the family of Onufry and Anna Lupul, Lucy was predeceased by all her younger siblings and their spouses, brothers Bill (Rose), Victor (Roberta), Peter (Hilary) and John; sisters Dora (Bill) Kirkness, Mabel (Tony) Koniaz, Jean (Edward) Gluck and Mary Lupul. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter Gloria Smith and grandson David (Dianne) Starin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. To celebrate a long life well lived, a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 23, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel with viewing half an hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Recreation Department at Betel Home; 212 Manchester Ave., Selkirk, MB, R1A 0B6.
