My grandpa was always a loving man, always loved to joke around, it's been over a year since he's passed, how time felt so short. I miss my grandpa so much. The night he passed was really hurtful, I couldn't stop crying that night, I know my grandpa is still in my heart. I miss him very much and I would do anything to see him again. - Posted by: Isaiah Woodhouse (Grandchild) on: Apr 24, 2014

I met Marshall when My wife and I first moved to the Interlake from Winnipeg 12 years ago. I loved Marshall because I never caught him being anyone else but just himself. We talked life and trying to the best of our abilities- to be kinder to the people Jesus had placed in our lives. I first was attracted to him playing some get down - honky-tonk piano/on an old piano at Pinaymootang School. I also loved his sense quick humor... We always talked the language of the heart together. What was said in confidence stayed secret - and I trusted him with my feelings. I had not heard of his birth into heaven... until today Dec.12, 2012. I believe my friend and I will continue our conversation and laughter when I join him in that place - where there is no more worry, nor bills to pay...and souls easily understand each other without, any effort. My Wife Naomi's and my prayers are with Marshall's family and friends at this time. Amen - Posted by: Jerry Pangborn (Friend and fellow worker) on: Dec 12, 2012

My condolences to the Woodhouse family, to Barabra especially. A marriage of 46 years is something to cherish and be proud of that you never gave up! I am happy to know that Marshall is in a place free of suffering and has joined so many great people who have passed on before him. I will certainly miss his humble nature and seeing him in the Fairford House of Prayer, dedicating so much of his time and sharing his talent the Lord blessed him with. God Bless you Marshall! xo - Posted by: Patricia Halaburda (Cousin) on: Nov 27, 2012

Marshall cherished and respected the people he met through his occupation and musical endeavors. We were fortunate to know Marshall and will miss hearing 'good stuff', as he loved gospel music. Our deepest condolences to Barbara and the rest of the Woodhouse family. God bless and keep you during your difficult time. - Posted by: Susan and Max Munroe (Friends) on: Nov 24, 2012

In my life I have made very many friends. I have friends from all walks of life. Doctors, lawyers, cops, hells-angels, street people, working people or the destitute and the very poor, I value and love them all. Very rarely does one find a friend of true exception like that of Marshall Woodhouse. A kind, caring and humble gentleman whose values of Integrity and total devotion to God have touched us all. I will never forget you Marshall Woodhouse. The phone calls, the visits, the friendly chats…..are memories that I will cherish forever. Your legacy will be carried on by your family and those of us that you touched. No matter what was said or done, Marshall always and never remembered any negative issues that came between our friendship in the Lord. That's what I'll remember him about and also, his humorous character about life's situations. Rest in peace my brother. - Posted by: Richard Anderson (Brother in the Lord) on: Nov 22, 2012

From the time I started knowing Marshall he was always joking, enjoyed laughter and loved to tease or be teased. We had many great times of laughter. From the time I knew him, until his passing, he was a true friend indeed. Always helping, always friendly; following the teachings of our Lord. Free at last! We will meet again my friend. - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2012
