KAREN JOY LERM (nee HAACK) 1953 - 2012 It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Karen on Monday, November 19 with her husband by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. Devoted wife, mom and Nana, she leaves her husband Chris, children Kari-Ann, Sheryl and Charles (Simone) and grandchildren Hunter, Cade, Kylie and Colton to cherish her memory. Also left to mourn her passing are her sister, brothers, uncles and aunts and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service to honour Karen's life will be held on Monday, November 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Seine River Church, 1464 Dawson Road, Lorette, MB. (just east of the town) A special thanks to the EMT's, doctor and staff at Ste. Anne's hospital for their incredible efforts and compassion. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Karen's honour to CancerCare Manitoba, or a charity of your choice. Safe now in Jesus' arms, but forever in our hearts. Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Such a tragedy, and although we know that we all have our days numbered; we hope that they wouldn't come so quickly. I believe you had a full life together, as partners, as family - and I pray you will find the strength from our Lord to get through each new day, while the pain in your heart lessens over the years. In our hearts, and memories she will stay until we meet again on those golden streets of Heaven. Praying for you all.....find comfort in one another and in Jesus. - Posted by: Kim Ellison (friend) on: Nov 28, 2012
