Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN DORIS ELLIOTT (nee HOTEL) Jan Elliott (Hotel), born April 4, 1928, passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital, Monday, November 19, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Jean is survived by her daughter Jackie Cycon (Rick), her grandson Mark Cycon, brothers Ralph Hotel (Muriel) and Ron Hotel (Linda). She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2011. Jean was born and raised in Austin, Manitoba and eventually taught school there until she married Bill. Together they travelled extensively through Europe while Bill was stationed there with the air force. When they returned to Winnipeg, Jean spent many years working at Ringers Pharmacy until the business closed. She then started a new career as a flight attendant on charter flights piloted by husband Bill. Upon retirement, they spent many happy years wintering in Phoenix, Arizona. Her favourite pastimes were golfing and excelling at crossword puzzles and scrabble. There will be no service and a private family interment will take place at a later date. By living in BC, had no contact with Bill and Jean in past few years. Bill and I flew for same company in the 70's in northern Man/Ont Bill was a super guy, great pilot, and a good buddy Jean will be missed for her friendship, and sometime golf partner.
