My true and deepest condolences go out to the family and I am so sorry to hear that this amazing woman has past away. I first met Delores in 1999 when I was dating Jennifer and this worldly woman gave me some great advice that I still use this today and often pass on her wisdom on to others. Delores was a true lady of this world who could also roll up her shirt sleeves and jump on a combine harvester to help Ken bring the crops in. Sadly I haven't had an opportunity to see Ken and Delores again since 2000 as I am based in Europe and have been in the Middle East for many years until recently. I am at a loss that she has left us but she will always be in my thoughts and I say this to you Delores as I know you are watching us "God be with you my friend, I will always remember your words of wisdom and will continue to miss you and the family every day...but when we meet up again, you have to make me Squash....your cooking was amazing" - Posted by: William Ball (Billy) () on: Jul 11, 2014

Our sincere condolences to you, Ken and your daughters and Dolores's sister, Cleona Staples. We were very saddened to hear of Dolores's sudden loss. I (Carol) knew Delores when she used to come and stay with us (Harry & Ellen Smith) in Winnipeg with her parents Mae and Frank Wooley. She used to come in for eye appointments. She was very young then. Several years later when she was married to Ken. My husband Bill & I went to your Polka Fests in Morden with several of our friends. We went for 4-5 years. We always had such a great time. Dolores and you Ken were always so friendly and hospitable. It was so wonderful to reconnect with Delores. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With sympathy, Bill & Carol Belsham - Posted by: Carol (née Smith) and Bill Belsham (Friend) on: Dec 02, 2012
