Allan hired me as an appraisal trainee at SS Stevenson in Winnipeg. I learned a lot of appraisal techniques but more importantly life lessons from Allan. He was a man of great character. I enjoyed our visits on the occasions when I returned to Winnipeg. He was admired and respected in his life and career. I will always remember his love of cigars, big cars and cheese sandwiches. - Posted by: John R.
