Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I know Uncle Roly (as he is called by my mother Rose), not personally, but through the stories from my mother. I was able to see him, as far as my childhood memory serves me, only once during their short visit in our small barrio in Herrera of the City of Ligao in Albay province, Philippines. My mother told me that Uncle Roly was a good man and husband to Lola Nen (as I was taught to call her). And I believe that this was so. To Lola Nen: I'm Kaiser, your grandson by your niece Rose. I'm already 24 years old as of now. A Certified Public Accountant by profession in the Philippines and currently works at Procter & Gamble. By God's grace, I was able to search this event a little bit too late. It is because the day Uncle Roly passed, the same was the day Mama Rose was hospitalized due to stroke. I learned about Uncle Roly's death by word of mouth from Uncle Danny. Mama, by God's grace, is now fully recovering. I'm so sorry for the loss of Uncle Roly. I may not know fully Lola Nen what you are going through right now, but I deeply pray you'll be comforted by God and your loved ones with you in Canada. I pray that we could be in touch once again. Yours lovingly, Kaiser - Posted by: Kaiser Yohann Pranada-Ballecer (Firstborn son of his wife's niece Rosario Pranada-Ballecer) on: Dec 31, 2012

  • Rolando and his family built his house the same time we built ours. We have been neighbors for over 20 years. He was a wonderful person in the neighborhood and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed. Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Fernando & Connie Francisco (Neighbor) on: Dec 05, 2012
