JOHN ALBERT CALLAREC With great sadness, the family of John Callarec announces the passing of their father at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. John was born on October 23, 1922 in Laurier, MB. John is survived by his loving children, Irene and partner Art Gagnon of St. Amelie, Rita and her husband Victor Beasse of Ste. Rose du Lac, Albert and his wife Julia of Acme, AB, Gilles and his partner Shelley Haibeck of Calgary, Gisele and her husband Ray Tessier of Vancouver, Yvette and her husband Dean Hollyoake of Ochre River and Lissa and her partner George Feldman of Winnipeg. There are 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grand-children that cherish many fond memories of their Pepere . John was predeceased by his wife Rita (nee Deremiens) of 59 years in August, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church. Fr. David Kowalski will officiate. A private family interment will take place. If friends and family so desire, donations may be made in John's memory to the Dauphin Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit or the Dauphin Legion Poppy Fund.
