I just came across this. Jim worked for my dad, John Home-Douglas, when my dad was branch manager at Imperial Tobacco 1964-65. I was only a young kid at the time but I remember Jim taking my dad golfing and I went along. Even though it was more than 50 years ago, I can still picture Jim's effortless golf swing. I seem to recall when he teed off, the ball would go out low for about a hundred yards and then rise up and level off--every time. One last memory-when we moved to Montreal in 1965, Jim drove me to the airport for my flight east. By the way, my dad also passed away in 2012. My condolences. - Posted by: Pierre Home-Douglas (son of a friend) on: Jan 01, 2020

I am so saddened to read of Mr. Cameron's passing. I was a server at Niakwa when I first met him, and learned very quickly not to trick him into eating his veggies. Deepest condolences to all those who cherished him. - Posted by: Angie Coe () on: Jan 01, 2013

I have never met Jim but I want his family to know that Gus has found his forever home. He has only been with us for a few hours and is loved completely already. The strange part is my husband is a Jim as well. Gus is a precious dog and we will take good care of him. Our condolences to the family but don't worry about Gus he is happy and we will make sure he stays that way for many years to come. - Posted by: Thora Meade () on: Dec 11, 2012

Very sorry to read of Jim's death. I have many fond memories of lunches with Jim and others, including Earl Booker, Bob Handford, Ron Castelane and Jim Mayer at the 'special' table at Niakwa. Please accept all my sincere condolences. - Posted by: Bob Goodwin (Friend & sometime golf partner) on: Dec 08, 2012
