• I went from grade 2 to 12 at Oak River with Bill. When we started dating in High School we dated cousins, we went to all the dances in the area....I think we had the 'best' of times growing up in Oak River. • When I first retired and began curling in the St. Vital Seniors leagues, Bill was one of the first individuals that, to me, represented the spirit of daytime seniors curling. He was always a gentleman on and off the ice, with a smile on his face and a positive comment this team or opponent. I was shocked to hear of his passing. • Bill will be missed. He was a fun-loving guy. Who else would agree to go skating at midnight on New Years Eve! And how about those snow angels!
