Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMALANIA OLYNICK (nee GYRYLUK) With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Malania (Mollie) Olynick, at the age of 84, Sunday, December 9, 2012. Malania will be sadly missed by her son John, daughter Selina Mikawos (Stan), granddaughter Stephanie. She leaves to mourn her passing her good friend Mary and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nick, her son Douglas (Dougie), brother Tom (Terry), Sam (Annette), sister Sonia. Malania was born January 13, 1928 and grew up in Winnipeg. She loved her family and treasured times spent with them. One of her greatest joys was to spend time with Stephanie; together they took joy in spotting the variety of polar bears throughout Winnipeg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 19, 2012, viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m., service to follow at 11:00 a.m., St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., Interment to follow.
