Mom was the centre of our family. Her happiest time was enjoying farm life with her cherished husband Wilf. She valued people over everything else in this world. Her generous, praying spirit anchored the lives of our family. Gladys is lovingly remembered by her children: son, Bob (Michele) of Winnipeg, MB, daughter, Joyne (Leo) of Miami, MB, son, Tom of Montrèal, QC, grandchildren, Zeke, Silke, Darlyn, Shad, Jesse, Ailis and Noah-Lou, son, Don (Gloria) of Medicine Hat, AB, special daughter, Julie of Montrèal, QC, one aunt, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. She had many dear friends. Gladys is predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilf in 1980 and siblings, George (Ruby) and Orpha. As per Gladys' wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Gladys will take place on Friday December 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden, with a private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys' memory to the M.S. Society or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Erma Guenther and Betty Hoeppner for their faithful support to Gladys. Thank you to the staff of Pembina Manitou Health Centre, Boundary Trails Health Centre, Notre Dame Hospital and all the home care givers (Angels) from over the years.
