WAYNE DONALD WRIGHT Wayne Donald Wright, 55, of Gimli, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2012. He was born in Eriksdale, on January 5, 1957. He was married to his long time love Leona Wright (nee Krochenski) on June 5, 1993. Wayne was just about to retire from his 38 years of service with the Province of Manitoba. Wayne was an avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast. Almost every weekend and holiday he could be found at his farm in his beloved childhood community of Narcisse. Wayne loved nature and people. He had a passion for lifelong learning. He was always surrounded by his family and friends throughout the Interlake. Wayne was always available to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a treasured husband, uncle, brother and friend. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life Leona; brothers Walter (Doreen) and Wilson (Shelly); sister Diane; mother-in-law Margaret Krochenski; brothers-in-law Ronald (Linda) and Gary; sisters-in-law Florence (Frederick), Violet (Barry) and Linda (Edward); nephews Wallace, Wade, Warren, Jason, Adam and Grant; nieces April, Tammy, Nancy, Lisa, Brandy, Donna and Claudia as well as his close friends Douglas, Warren, Andy and many others including great-nieces and nephews and friends. Special thanks to neighbour Jim Cook for his incredible support. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Gail; father Douglas; uncle Willy and father-in-law Michael Krochenski. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Wayne's life will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, January 3, 2013 in the Fraserwood Hall.   • Wayne was a great person and as already said by others, he would give you the shirt off his back. I knew him for over 30 years and he will be missed greatly.   • I've only known Wayne for about 7 yrs. but I'll never forget him. He ws a great friend and neighbour, he always had a snile and something good to say. He'd help anyone with anything. He'd give you the shirt off his back if you asked. "Madison", my little dog misses the time when Wayne would come home from work. I'll miss the rum and coke with him on my deck.
