My prayers and thoughts are going out to Finnurs family and loved ones...He was such an amazing friend and man...I worked at the Stonewall Hospital when he would come in to deliver his packages and was always smiling and never allowed anything to get him down...him and I would always talk about losing weight and different programs which of course I failed at all the time but he always would say I know you can do it just keep pushing forward...I will miss that sweet face and kind words he would always say to me when he knew my day wasnt going so well...there are better days ahead he would say not even giving his illness a thought...but that is the man he was...he put others ahead of himself...I know the angels in Heaven rejoiced as you walked through the gates of Heaven my friend for you are one of the greatest men I have even known...R.I.P.Finnur and we will see you one day in our Fathers kingdom...God Bless you will be missed - Posted by: Liz Carde (friend) on: Jan 04, 2013

I was always amazed by Finnur's upbeat and positive attitude during his illness. He always seemed more concerned about others than himself. He truly had a gift, he could sit down and talk with you and you would leave feeling like he was a close friend. Not many have that ability. Caroline and Jesse have suffered a tremendous loss and please know that you are in my thoughts. - Posted by: Laura Scherza ( ) on: Jan 03, 2013

Sincere Sympathy extended to Finnur's family. I recall the day that Finnur shared his diagnosis with us (his co-workers) and how he in genuine "Finnur style" encouraged us to be hopeful of the prognosis. We shared many laughs, enjoyed his many stories and counted on his road condition reports in the winter months. A wonderful person! - Posted by: L. Doolan (Co-worker) on: Jan 02, 2013
