PAULETTE PERRON (nee MARION) February 21, 1952-December 28, 2012 Heart wrenched we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother Paulette surrounded by her loving family in the Health Sciences Centre on December 28, 2012 after a brief but very courageous battle with cancer. Paulette is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Rene Perron in 2005; mother and father Leola and David Marion both 1995; brother Raymond Marion in 1992. She will be sadly missed by her three children Lynne Lenton, Marcel Perron (Amber), and Jacques Perron (Roxanne Fillion); two adorable grandchildren Sierra and Madison Lenton; as well as her three siblings Olive (Paul Ayotte), Rose (David Fulawka), and Claude Marion. Paulette grew up in Saint-Jean-Baptiste where she went to school and then lived the rest of her life in Saint-Joseph. She embraced cooking as a career choice and dedicated herself to satisfying people's appetites. Paulette took pride in the quality of her food and was pleased to see everyone feasting and rejoicing having catered many celebrations. Throughout the years she met countless people of whom many soon became friends and colleagues. She really enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. Paulette was a special woman, grateful for anything and everything no matter how big or small she appreciated it all. She took nothing for granted, having lived a difficult life at times but that only made her stronger. Paulette was known by all who knew her for her beautiful smile and laughter that echoed wherever she went. There is no doubt she has earned a place in God's kingdom with her loving ways. She has inspired us all in some way and we thank her for all that she has done. Good-byes are never easy but neither is watching a loved one suffer. Mom, you will be sadly missed, never forgotten and cherished forever in our hearts. We will always love you. Prayers and viewing will be held at the Morris Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing at the church prior to the mass. Cremation will follow. Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451 Toll Free 1-866-746-2451 www.morrisfuneralhome.ca

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Having just heard the sad news about Paulette, I would like to offer my condolences to her siblings, her children and grandchildren. Until I was 10 years old, my family and hers were neighbours in St. Jean Baptiste. I remember spending many happy hours at Paulette's parents place to watch TV or to play with her as well as with her brother Raymond and sisters Olive and Rose. We were always welcome and had such fun! She will be sadly missed by many. Cherish all of your fond memories to keep her alive in your hearts. With sympathy, Jocelyne (Lauze) and husband Eddy Jaremowich - Posted by: Jocelyne and Eddy Jaremowich (childhood friend) on: Jan 19, 2013

  • Your Mom will be missed by all who knew her. She was a beautiful woman with a huge heart of gold. She would greet everyone with a genuine smile on her face and was an inspiration to all who knew her. May God and the support of family and friends get you through this. Hang onto the memories! - Posted by: Elaine Siemens (Friend) on: Jan 04, 2013

  • Paulette was my husband’s first cousin. We shared the same maiden name “Paulette Marion”. Paulette would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She was a very thoughtful person. Every time she met us, she would inquire "Puis vous autres, comment ça va?” Rest in peace, dear Paulette. Roger and I offer our deepest sympathies to her siblings and children. - Posted by: Paulette I. Vermette (cousin) on: Jan 03, 2013

  • Paulette's hugs, laughter and giggles were contagious and put smiles on our faces. We will miss her greatly; Sunday mornings at Barnay's will not be the same. - Posted by: Lise & Tony Cianflone (cousin) on: Jan 03, 2013
