JAROD DANIEL JENSEN Blue Thunder Eagle Jarod was born on October 18, 1985, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and passed away suddenly on December 30, 2012, in Thompson, Manitoba, at the age of 27 years. Jarod cherished his family and adored his beautiful daughters. He strived at learning the traditional way of life and was in his second year of sundance. Jarod was currently enrolled in the Neeginan Institute of Applied Technology and was at the top of his class in the welding trade. His bright smile and laughter warmed the hearts of many and this is evident in the numerous amounts of friendships Jarod maintained. He was taken away too soon, but will remain in our hearts forever. We love you Jarod. A wake service was held on Friday, January 4, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Chief Peter Beardy Memorial Hall in Grand Rapids, Manitoba. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Anglican Church in Grand Rapids, Manitoba, with Rev. Steve Martin officiating.
