I was sad to hear that Larry has left us and gone to the other side, to be with his mom and dad. But no matter where he is, he will always be looking over his brother and sisters and their families. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Karen Booth (Cousin) on: Jan 09, 2013

It is with great sadness that I learned of Larry’s death. I met Larry years ago. While our lives moved us in different directions our friendship transcended time and space and although we often did not see each other for years, upon meeting we were able to pick up where we left off. Larry’s generosity and the way he cared for his family are what I will remember most about him. Goodbye my Friend! - Posted by: Gerald Lylyk (Friend) on: Jan 07, 2013

It saddens me to hear of the passing of Larry. He was always so kind to me as a kid. He took pleasure in giving things to others. He often sent over gently used items or first aid equipment to the mission here at Hope For The Island. I will remember his big smile. RIP larry and I know heaven holds a special place for you. - Posted by: jennifer van ryckeghem (family friend) on: Jan 06, 2013

Our condolences to the family. We are doing missionary work in a remote area of the Philippines and cannot attend. Larry was our personal friend for over 25 years and we shared some special times. He was known for his generosity and loved to talk about his nephews-it was obvious he loved them a lot. Larry and I spent many enjoyable hours discussing our faith in Jesus. Though he had many struggles in his life, which we are all aware of, but as his pastor and friend, Larry had reassured me of his faith and personal commitment to Jesus Christ. On many occasions Larry voiced his deep desire to be with the Lord. We will miss him. - Posted by: Pastor Edson and Teresa Sanecki (friends) on: Jan 05, 2013

Larry was a friend who could be counted on to voice his opinion. When we visited him, less than two weeks before his passing, he was making enquiry about some other mutual friends and acquaintances. At the time of our visit, he was being held in isolation because the doctor suspected there might be an infection. Larry was wide awake and able to talk lucidly and to express his opinion just the same as he always has. His passing is not unnoticed, as one friend tells another. May his memory be honored by friends and family. - Posted by: Rick Galbraith (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2013
