LUELLA E. NICHOL December 1, 1946 - January 4, 2013 Peacefully, and with family by her side, Luella passed away January 4, 2013 at the Selkirk General Hospital. Luella was predeceased by her parents Earl and Bonnee Garinger; brother Larry and sister Erla. Luella is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Doug; her daughter Tamie (Paul); son Dale (Alana); three cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Matthew, and Skylar, along with brother's Leon, Dale, and Allen, and sister's Marla and Keri. Luella was a strong, loving, dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's hockey games, hosting family dinners, and spending time with her countless friends including the Stitch and Bitch' group and the Dinner Gals'. Luella enjoyed spending summers at the family cottage at Lake Manitoba Narrows, minding her flower garden and keeping the company of her good friends Winnie, Joy, and Gladys. Luella also enjoyed crafting and was very talented at any craft she took up. As per her wishes, there will not be a funeral. Cremation has occurred and a private family interment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association. Luella's family is very grateful to all the staff at Selkirk General Hospital for their professional and compassionate care for Luella and her family during this difficult time.
