ANNA MARCYNIUK (nee HUYWAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Anna Marcyniuk at t he Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, Manitoba on January 4, 2013. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John on November 24, 2009; her son Walter Marcyniuk and daughter-in-law Karen; her parents Pauk and Magdelena Huywan; brothers John and Joe Huywan. She is survived by her sistersMary Struc (Sam), and Jean Struc (Nick); sons Frank Marcyniuk (Donna), Leonard Marcyniuk (Mary Jean), and Ron; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was born August 18, 1924 on the family farm in Broad Valley, Manitoba. Mom and Dad were married on December 29, 1943 and moved to Hodgson shortly thereafter, where they raised their family. Mom was an awesome cook and took great pleasure in canning, gardening and tending to her beautiful flower beds. Funeral service will be on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. Interment will follow at the Hodgson Community Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Fisher Personal Care Home and the doctors and nurses at Percy E. Moore Hospital for their kind and generous care. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC.
