RICHARD ALVIN POERSCH Peacefully after a severe stroke, Richard Alvin Poersch passed away on January 3, 2013 at the Morris General Hospital, at the age of 89 years. Surviving him are two brothers Lloyd and Robert, both of Morris; one sister Edith Neumann of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Fred Johnson of Winnipeg; as well as 11 nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Richard was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Gordon, Herbert, and Norman, sisters Irene Johnson and Margaret Ukrainec, sisters-in-law Mae Poersch and Beth Poersch, and brothers-in-law Bill Ukrainec and Arthur Neumann. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brunkild on Friday, January 11 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Leslie Poulin officiating. Interment in the Lea Bank Cemetery. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Those so desiring, in lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
