Janet is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Stewart of Winnipeg and brother, Miller Hepburn of Ancaster, ON and was a cherished Aunt, Grandaunt and Great-Grandaunt. Janet was born on June 29, 1931 in Kitchener, ON and came to Winnipeg when she was eight years old. The majority of her working career was spent at Olivetti Underwood until her retirement. She had a real talent for both painting and crafts. Janet had a special place in her heart for children and was always very generous with her talents and gifts for them. She had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed a good laugh. Janet will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a future date in Winnipeg. Donations in her memory could go to a children's charity of one's choice. My heartfelt condolences especially to Mary for the loss of her sister and to Bob and family. Megan and Joel spent countless weekends with their beloved Aunt Janet and had an especially difficult time returning to "normal" once they returned home. She was a source of delight and they loved her up to the moon and back and it was returned two-fold. We all have wonderful and fun memories and there will always be a special place in our hearts for Janet. - Posted by: Mary Dallimore (Megan and Joel's Mother) on: Jan 12, 2013

I am so sorry to hear about Janet's passing. I remember lots of gatherings at Auntie Mary's home (both in Fort Garry and at Victoria Beach) when Janet was there. She was always such a spirited person and she had a very infectious laugh. I am so sorry Auntie Mary and family. You will miss her. - Posted by: Bev Jarvis (Mary Grierson Stewart's niece) on: Jan 09, 2013
