Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH (EDIE) BOWEN (nee THIESSEN) November 19, 1935 - January 2, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Edith, on January 2, 2013 in Penticton, BC; but, we are comforted in the knowledge that she has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour. Edith was born in Winnipeg, married and moved to California, but returned to Canada to celebrate her retirement. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Jackie Bolduc, son, David Bolduc, daughter-in-law Anita Bolduc, two grandsons, Christopher Bolduc and Stephen Bolduc, and four sisters, Ada Cass, Susan Schmidke, Amy Merritt and Gloria Miller. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Clarence Bowen. Arrangements in care of Everden Rust Funeral Services, 250-493-4112

She was a dear and beloved friend of my mother in Riverside. I have many wonderful memories of Edith And Bill on weekends and on Thanksgiving and Christmases! I just found out her passing from a document that she must’ve sent to my brother prior to his passing, but just after my mother June Kennedy passed away. Rest in peace Edith! I was flower-girl for Edith's 1st mariage which was a tribute to the birth of David (Laurie) and Jackie Bolduc. After 77 years of life, she has gone to a more peaceful place without the suffering which her health and life caused her. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Gloria Miller (sister) on: Jan 12, 2013
