SHIRLEY MARGARET JEAN ABRAHAM (nee DISBROWE/MCDONALD) February 5, 1940 - January 7, 2013 Peacefully on January 7, 2012 our beloved mother Shirley Abraham passed away at the age of 72 years. Shirley was born in Berens River on February 5, 1940 to Alfred and Grace Disbrowe. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Grace Disbrowe; brothers Alvin and Robert Disbrowe; sister Thelma Disbrowe; special cousins, Capt. George Everett and Violet Everett; grandchildren, Vince, Amanda, Grace, Donavan and Angel; aunts and uncles, Tashe and Christina Everett, Fred and Stanley Disbrowe; numerous cats - Most special one was Misery. Shirley leaves to mourn; sons, Wayne and William (Stephanie); daughters, June (Harrison), Rhonda, Rolanda (Hubert), Yvonne (Joe) and Kim (Russell); 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Wake services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 and Saturday, January 12, 2013, both at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Bread of Life Ministries, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg, MB.
