BENOIT (BEN) DUHAMEL May 20, 1953 - January 9, 2013 After a long illness, the Lord came for Ben. He leaves behind two brothers, Roland (Muriel) of N.B. and Gilbert (Gloria) of Edmonton, AB, two sisters, Lucille Godbout and Rolande Raynaud both of Winnipeg, MB; numerous nieces and nephews, Godparents Marcien and Angelina Duhamel. Also aunts Doris, Nettie and Malvina Gauthier. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonin and Henriette, two brothers, Gerald and Rhéal, sister, Marie, brother-in-law Guy Godbout, sister-in-law Helen Duhamel and niece, Nina Mandarino. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and all whose lives he touched. In keeping with Ben's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. An interment will take place in the spring of this year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ben to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
