Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur, MB, with prayers taking place prior at 10:30 a.m. Father Philip Malayil as celebrant. Interment to follow in the Baldur Cemetery. Memoriams may be made in Irene's memory to the Baldur Volunteer Enrichment Group, c/o Baldur Health Centre, Box 128 Baldur, MB, R0K 0B0. IRENE VAN DAMME (nee HUTLET) Irene Van Damme (George), passed away peacefully at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the age of 94 years. Irene leaves to mourn her passing her five children, Eileen Cherniak of Winnipeg, Doreen (Warren) Drake of Winnipeg, Kathleen (Garry) Helbrecht of Winnipeg, Belinda (Alan) Skardal of Baldur, Gordon (Lorena) Van Damme of Baldur, daughters-in-law Debbie (Larry) Miller and Elaine (Allan) Van Damme, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was predeceased by her husband George, sons Joseph, Lawrence and Allan, a daughter Marjorie, granddaughter Carrie Van Damme and grandson Bradley Drake. Irene is also survived by brothers Etienne and Lionel Hutlet, sister Yvette Brandt, and sister-in-law Magdelena Hutlet.
