Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNHARD ALSTADT Bernhard was born July 5, 1923 in Greenridge, MB to his parents, Erich and Amanda Alstadt (nee Knutt), and passed away Monday, January 14, 2013. Bernhard was a life member of the Lutheran Church, baptized in Greenridge and confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal, MB. Ben attended school in Greenridge and farmed in Greenridge until his retirement in 1986. He is survived by numerous cousins and was predeceased by his parents Erich and Amanda Alstadt, and his sister Ruth Alstadt. The funeral service for Bernhard Alstadt will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. in Altona, MB with a private family committal service in the Friedensthal Cemetery. Many thanks to Dr. Bueddefeld for his care throughout the years. Also, thank you to the wonderful, kind staff at Altona Eastview Place. Bernhard appreciated every kindness given to him.
