OSCAR LAGACE Paisiblement Oscar Lagacé, entouré de sa famille, nous a quittés le 24 janvier à l'âge de 88 ans. Il est allé rejoindre le Seigneur, ses parents Clovis et Bernadette, son frère Bernard, son jumeau Adélard, ses petits-enfants Ashley et Nicole, sa bru Sharon, ses beaux-parents Archie et Thérèse, ses beaux-frères et belle-soeur. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Eveline, as well as his children: Rachel Cahill (René), their daughters, Danielle (friend Matt) and Nathalie; Gisèle Copping (Dale), their daughter Corrinne (Gerry), her children Reanne, Luc and Derek, their daughter Evelyn and her children, Ella and Abbigayle; Claude (Suzanne), their children Matthew and Bernadette; Louise Gallant (Yvan), their son Donald, their son Robert (Carolyn), his children Austen, Gabe, Kaci, Rhilan; Monique Ammeter (Gary) and their children Stephanie and Bronson; his daughter Céline; Donald (friend Melissa), and his children Tiffany and Anthony, Lisa (Rob), and their children Tianha and Ellya; Jacques (Lori) and their children Dylan and Kayla; Dolores Mogg (Brent) and their children Krystal (friend Ben), Bobby, Emma and Braeden. He is also remembered by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Papa était fermier toute sa vie à La Salle. La maison familiale lui tenait bon coeur, il était né dans cette maison et son désir de mourir là c'est réalisé. Dad always said that he had no regrets and that he lived the life he wanted. Dad had a very strong faith and his faith kept him going until the very end. He is now at peace. We love you Dad, we know you are in great company watching over us from above. The family would like to thank our nurse Doris and the Home Care workers who took good care of Dad, especially Irene, Teresa and Calla. Prayers and viewing will be held on Friday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Hyacinthe Parish in La Salle. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 2, viewing at 9:30 a.m. and mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinthe Parish followed by interment at the St. Hyacinthe Parish Cemetery. Eveline, Donald and the Lagace Family: Terry and I are so sorry to hear about Oscar. We came to know Oscar during our many visits to LaSalle and enjoyed his company during family get togethers. We know him to be a very kind individual and a dedicated family man. He enjoyed life and lived it well.
