Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAN ELIZABETH CARTER 1942 - 2013 Joan has peacefully passed on to heaven with her family at her side on Friday, January 24, 2013. Joan was predeceased by her younger sister and parents. She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years of marriage Dale Carter; her three sons Daniel, Denny and Donald; her daughter Heather along with her four grandchildren and her sister Margaret. Joan enjoyed many things in life. She loved crafts, being outdoors, bike rides, the country life and having a big dog by her side. One of her first passions was hairdressing which enjoyed doing for many years until her life took a turn towards family and she had her three boys which became her new passion. Above all else was her love and strong belief in God. Joan was a strong and loving woman that will be greatly missed by all. We are happy she is in God's hands now. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel at 309 Eveline St. in Selkirk, Manitoba.
