MARIA RAPOSO July 17, 1934 January 28, 2013 On Monday, January 28, 2013 our beloved mother and grandmother passed away at home at the age of 78 years. She was surrounded by her loving family as it was her desire to pass away at home. Mother leaves to cherish her memory and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Rita, son-in-law Ernesto, grandchildren Diogo, Joshua, and Lawrence, sister Adelina in Toronto, sister and brother-in-law Almerinda and Joao in Portugal, and also numerous nieces and nephews in Montreal, Ontario, and Portugal. Mom was born and raised in S. Miguel-Acores Portugal, and she lived a very happy and full life between Portugal and Canada. We will always remember her incredible laugh, strong will power, and amazing, giving personality. We will miss her and love her forever. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 31 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m., Monsignor Maurice Comeault officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Monsignor Maurice Comeault celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 in her memory. Descanca Em Pas.
