Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY NOWOSAD February 8, 1919 - January 31, 2013 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Granny and Sister on January 31, 2013. Mary will be lovingly and forever remembered by her children: daughters, Rose and Fran (Dick); son, Tony (Barbara); seven grandchildren Laurie, Greg, John, Jim, Lisa, Darren and Charlene; 10 great-grandchildren Steven, Jessica, Laurn, Alex, Cameron, Cassandra, Dawson, Lexis, Olivia and Eric; sisters, Ann, Helen, Martha (Frank) and Jean (Doug). She was predeceased by her beloved husband William, of 50 years, April 19, 1991; her parents; sister, Nellie and brothers, Joe and Mike. Mary was a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Mary the Protectress. She was a very special woman who was able to appreciate and enjoy the simple things in life to the fullest. Mary's grandchildren were such joys for her. She was always so happy to see them and interested in their lives. Throughout her life, Mom pursued her love of nature and gardening and took great pleasure in helping family, friends and neighbours. She was a fabulous cook and she loved to dance. Mom's gentle, quiet nature and bright smile are memories we will forever cherish. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff of St. Joseph's Residence for all the care and kindness shown to our mother Mary during her five and one half years as a resident, especially in her final days. A private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Residence. God has you in His keeping, but we have you in our hearts. Each of us in our own special way will remember you with love always! KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
