Harvey has done lots or work for my Dad and myself at our cottages in Grindstone. He would often stop in for coffee if he was working in the area, or sometimes he would just come for a drive. He also brought his son on several occasions so he would fish off our shore. He did catch something a couple of times. You could not find a nicer guy than Harvey. He will certainly be missed. Our deepest condolences to Laurel and the family. - Posted by: Wayne Steffensen (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2013

I worked with Harvey on a few jobs, mostly on pipeline const. whenever we worked together we usually ended up as roommates. Could not have asked for a better roommate. We always got along great together. Am very sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed by many. Condolences to Laurel & Family - Posted by: Jerry Simundson (Friend) on: Feb 06, 2013

I have a cottage at Grindstone and I hired Harvey to do some clearing for me. Harvey did a fantastic job and was a joy to converse with. He was very proud of his sons and we had a great conversation about hockey. Everytime I saw Harvey in the park, I tried to make a point of saying hello, and he always made time to talk. Even though I did not know Harvey all that well, it's still sad to hear & my condolences to his family. - Posted by: Gary Dueck (Customer) on: Feb 06, 2013

Harvey's favourite comment was "Is that good enough?" This when he wanted to stop, I always enjoyed Harvey's special laugh and will miss hearing those words "Is that good enough"! - Posted by: Dale jonasson (Friend) on: Feb 06, 2013
