DOREEN MURIELLE GROSS (nee JOHNSON) It is with heartfelt sadness, to announce the passing of Doreen Murielle Gross, on February 5, 2013, born on February 17 1937. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sherri, son-in-law Brad and her grandchildren Bryson and Brooke, along with Dakota. Doreen is survived by her son Ron and his family, brother Don, sister Donna, brother-in-law Don, along with close friends Denise, Pete and Verna, nieces, nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her husband Ron, brother David and parents Gordon and Helen Johnson. Doreen was a very active lady even after her stroke that occurred in June 2011. At her new residence, Kildonan Personal Care Centre she continued to play Bingo, go on shopping trips and took care of the flowers just like she did at her home on McCalman. Her kindness, her laugh and friendliness will be sadly missed from anyone who knew her. To the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Centre, you are truly special people. Thanks for the wonderful and compassionate care you gave my mom. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service in Doreen's memory will be held at The Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, with Rev. Richard Kruesel officiating. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to a charity of your choice. Knysh Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements. (204)582-0973.

Doreen had a great sense of humour and wit. Her beauty shone outward from the depth of her soul. I will miss her dearly, but her memory will live on as will her legacy through all of you.
